Chatbot was created in collaboration with the "Korak dalje" association, aiming to help and promote it's work.

The association "Korak dalje" ("A step further") is an association that deals with the protection of rights and interests, providing and improving non-institutional assistance to people with intellectual disabilities and children with developmental disabilities, and their parents/guardians. Like every association, they are facing problems with financing, workspace and volunteers. Our goal is to help with this chatbot. 

This problem primarily affects the proteges of the association and their families, but also the whole society, because the development of society (humanity) is best seen through society's care for children, the elderly and the infirm. 

All of us, together. Each of us can help and participate, even if we don't have the time or don't know how. A lot of people could help with the financial part because the equipment used for help and rehabilitation is expensive. 

Until there are major changes in society, the problem is big - it directly affects real people and their families. Through our activities, the association and we want to encourage the development of citizens' awareness of the rights of people with disabilities and contribute to the development of our society through sensitizing to the acceptance of diversity and the development of tolerance, with the aim of preventing the institutionalization of people with intellectual disabilities and improving the quality of life of said people, children with disabilities in development and their families. 

Ignorance, intolerance and misunderstanding. In addition, finances are always a problem because the association itself is financed through projects and donations, and with the help of the city that gave them the premises they use. 

Daruvar is a small town and we all know about the association, but not how to help and how to participate. That is why we want to bring them even closer to citizens and society and involve society and citizens in the support of the association.

Our chatbot displays information about the association, lists and explains their activities, talks about the projects they are involved in and describes the problems they face. The chatbot also shows that these are people who are very kind and full of love and desire for socializing through video, pictures and stories. It also enables chatbot users to quickly and efficiently get to know the association and easily offer their help.
