Chatbot Waldinger is an assistant for tourists in Osijek. It offers navigation, SOS and necessities.

Osijek is not recognized as a tourist city. The reason lies in the insufficient access to information about the facilities offered by the city of Osijek and the lack of communication infrastructure. Given that Osijek has all the predispositions of a successful tourist city, this is a big step backwards for future Osijek citizens.

This problem affects tourists because they do not have the opportunity to get to know the beauty and charms of Osijek. It also affects current and future residents of the city of Osijek and its surroundings, especially young people who could contribute to the tourist services of the city.

Tourist boards, higher bodies of the county and the state are responsible for this problem, as well as the citizens themselves, whose non-involvement does not contribute to solving this problem.

This problem is extremely big for eastern continental Croatia, the city of Osijek, Osijek-Baranja County and the Republic of Croatia.

The lack of support from the ruling citizens of Osijek and mutual non-cooperation stand in the way of solving this problem.

We chose this problem because as the future generation of the city of Osijek, we believe that it is our responsibility to encourage the solution of this problem. It is important to solve it because if there is no change, the future of the city of Osijek will be endangered and it is up to us to develop our hometown.

Chatbot solves this problem by helping tourists with information on activities, accommodation, transport, food, drink and first aid, who can then easily find their way around the city of Osijek. This encourages the development of tourism that will contribute to the economy of Osijek-Baranja County.
